The Victoria Local Council is organising a Christmas Village in St George's Square commencing on the 22nd November running up to Sunday 29th November (2009).

The square will be transformed into a Christmas village where typical wooden huts offer different items related to Christmas including a variety of Christmas decorations, cribs, crafts, cakes, traditional food, mulled wine, costume jewellery, and flower arrangements.

Choirs singing Christmas carols, a band and a clarinet quartet will animate the evenings. Children can also have photos with Santa's Sleigh.

The Christmas Village will be open from 10:00am -12:00pm, and 4:00pm - 7:00pm.

The Christmas Village is being supported by Coca Cola, Mc Donalds, and Gozo Channel Co. Ltd
